Nikita from a shoot we did on one frosty morning.

The lace somehow seams to sparkle along with the

morning dew and crystals.

Inspired in a magical moment the collection of crowns

As I create in my nook studio showered by ever evolving rainbows

from the light reflecting in the crystals surrounding me,

I am grateful to be energized by colored light all day long!

One sunny day...drifting from a dreamstate

I had a vision inspired by the rainbow light.

A Rainbow Pouch

Using recycled materials I crafted this rainbow wonder

into reality. During time spent in the rolling country hills,

hand dying in the country breeze

these little pouches started a magic life of their own.

Now spontaneously wondering the world, the pouches carry

on their magic of rainbow delights.

I'm currently making custom orders of psychedelic colors for the

festival season ahead.

2011 has been a incredibly exciting and hectic year so far,

above are moments of creating, colorful inspiration & visual

expressions of emotions. I've been living & working in London for

a month or so and the ever flowing energies of this city have

definitely had there effect! Between markets, birthdays, travels,

merriment, workshops, custom pieces & moon lite moors
photo shoots...I've had my hands full and loved every moment.

Preparing for the next adventure, which begins in a week!

DIY Candles

Making DIY Candles from Recycled Wax & Beer Cans!

With found wax left outside a candle factory & beer cans

from the last house party, equals a wicked diy weekend project.

Materials

twine for wick

beer cans

wax (recycled if possible)

pliers & scissors

can opener

stove & pot

sieve (bend square can metal into cone shape)

lighter!

(clean out cans before you start this project!)

1. In large pot melt chunk of wax until liquefied.

(make sure area is ventilated, as wax flumes are toxic!)

2. Prepare can by measuring twine wick to the full length of the can

leaving extra wick on the top, tie knot on the end.

3. Cut a slit in the opening, place wick in slit and let excess hang over the top.

4. With sieve pour wax into the can

(to make a sieve: cut square piece of can & fold into a cone shape)

5. Let wax harden....approx 1hr in cool & dry place

6. Once fully hardened, Open can with can opener

7. Once the top is off, cut a slit into the side

8. Using pliers (as it's very sharp) peel off can from candle

9. Cut wick to a desired length

10. Light & Enjoy!

Try this project out for yourselves.

Experiment using different candle molds,

but beware that some may melt from the hot wax.

You can also add colors & scents and anything else

you can think of to make the creation of your choosing.

The amazing Pando in Utah, USA. The 105-acre tribe

of quaking aspens consisting of genetically identical

trees connected by a single root system, making Pando

the largest known living organism at 80,000 yrs old!

The quaking quality refers to the way the leaves

obsessed with trees. Not only are they essential for our well being
they provide endless inspiration and wonderment.
This is a small by-weekly diary of all things of goodness
dedicated to one of my most beloved: the trees!

Rainbow Eucalyptus

Known for being the most colorful tree on earth.
As the rainbow bark sheds it's colors the trees age is reveled.
Freshly shed outer bark will reveal the bright green inner bark.
Over time this darkens and changes from blue to purple
and then reaches orange and maroon tones.
It is the only Eucalyptus species found naturally
in the Northern Hemisphere,
Definitely the coolest tree around!

Watched the documentary Encounters at the end of the world,last night which I found to be deeply inspiring.
The seal calls are truly natures organic psychedelic music!
One of my favorite lines which really stuck out to me....

"through our eyes the universe is perceiving itself,
and through our ears the universe is
listening to it's cosmic harmonys.
We are the witness to which the universe
becomes conscience of it's magnificence!"

The Smithsonian Institution Libraries have a wonderful collection of
vintage seed catalogs from 1830 to 1930s. They can be printed out
and used a multitude of ways, for example they
make very lovely seed envelopes.

Took a spontaneous road trip to NYC over the weekend, where the sunshine was waiting for us.

An amazing find of planetable paper. Beautiful handmade paper that grows wildflowers when planted,there so many ways to use them, but I love the growing heart confetti!
I can't wait to try these in my new flat! Poppies, lavender,
catchfly, bird's eye, wildflowers fields here I come!
